Thousands march in London against the Ankara Bombing

Thousands took part in a demonstration outside Downing Street condemning the double bombing in Ankara on Saturday, 10th October. It is a brutal attack that has shocked everyone with at least 128 reported killed and hundreds injured.

Day-Mer, Kurdish and Turkish organisations were amongst many that called this demonstration. There was a sense of anger and despair that soon turned into determination to raise awareness and to determination to expose those responsible for this tragedy.

Many speakers from various campaigns, activist and trade unionist spoke and expressed their support to the Kurdish and Turkish people.

Tamil Solidarity also sends its condolences and solidarity to all those killed and injured during the Ankara bombing. We call for an international solidarity of trade unionist, campaigners and activist with the people in Turkey.
